1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Lebanon 2 ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the website app.lebanon2.io, lebanon2.io, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using Lebanon 2, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of the Platform

Lebanon 2 is a civic technology and digital utility platform designed to be a 1:1 scale interactive map of Lebanon. The platform allows users to:

• Explore: View real-time infrastructure, traffic, safety, and commercial activity.
• Report (Free): Submit location-based civic reports (e.g., traffic jams, municipal issues, safety alerts).
• Promote (Paid): Post commercial listings (e.g., real estate, parking spots, guest stays, events).
• Own Digital Land: Purchase digital "Tiles" representing 10x10m geographical squares in Lebanon to control the digital visibility of that area.

3. Nature of Digital Land (Tiles)

3.1 Digital Utility Only: The digital assets identified as "Tiles" or "Land" on Lebanon 2 carry NO rights to physical land, property, or real estate of any kind. They represent an exclusive right to control the digital advertising and visibility space at that specific geolocation strictly within the Lebanon 2 Platform.

3.2 Not a Cryptocurrency or Metaverse: Lebanon 2 is not a game, a virtual reality metaverse, a cryptocurrency platform, or an NFT exchange. It is a street-level digital economy tool designed for real-world utility in Lebanon.

3.3 Pricing & Valuation: Tile prices are dynamic. They start at a base price (e.g., $2) and increase algorithmically (up to $200 or more) as surrounding tiles are purchased. We do not guarantee that any Tile will retain its value or increase in value. You acknowledge that purchasing Tiles involves financial risk and is done at your own discretion.

3.4 Cart Limitations: Due to the first-come, first-served nature of the map, users may only add a maximum of 10 tiles to their cart per transaction. If another user successfully completes a purchase of a tile currently sitting in your cart, you must remove it to proceed.

4. Posting & Visibility

4.1 Civic Reporting (Proximity Rules): To ensure map integrity, civic alerts (Traffic, Municipality, Safety) are free but require the user to be physically present within a specific radius (e.g., 300m to 500m) of the reporting location. By submitting these reports, you consent to sharing your device's GPS location with the Platform.

4.2 Commercial Listings: Posting commercial listings (Events, Rentals, Parking, Properties) requires the payment of a Guest Fee, which varies based on category and duration. If you are the registered "Tile Owner" of the location where you are posting, this fee is waived, and you may post for free.

4.3 Mobile Verification: To prevent spam and maintain trust, certain high-value posts (such as property listings and public issues) require a verified Lebanese mobile number.

5. Tile Owner Revenue Share

If a registered user (a "Guest") pays a fee to post a commercial listing on a Tile that you currently own, you are entitled to receive a percentage of that transaction fee (the "Owner Revenue Share").

• The Revenue Share percentage is determined by Lebanon 2 and may vary by category.
• Lebanon 2 does not guarantee that any Guest will post on your Tile, and therefore does not guarantee any income, revenue, or return on your Tile purchase.
• Revenue Shares are credited to your Platform account and can be withdrawn or used within the Platform subject to our payment processing terms and minimum withdrawal limits.

6. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase Tiles or commercial listings. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Lebanon 2 is not liable for any losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

7. User-Submitted Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (photos, descriptions, comments). However, by submitting content, you grant Lebanon 2 a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and utilize that content to operate the Platform.

You agree NOT to submit content that:

• Is false, fabricated, or misleading (especially regarding civic and safety alerts).
• Incites religious, political, or racial tension.
• Is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or invades another person's privacy.
• Violates any third-party intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these rules without prior notice or refund.

8. Payments and Refunds

All purchases of Tiles and Post Durations are processed in USD. All transactions are instantaneous and final. Lebanon 2 does not offer refunds for change of mind. Refunds will only be considered in the event of a proven technical error with our payment gateway.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

LEBANON 2 IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We do not guarantee that any civic issue reported on the Platform will be resolved by any municipality. We do not guarantee any financial return on the purchase of Tiles.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lebanon 2 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
