Effective Date: September 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and ARD 2 LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Lebanon 2 web application (app.lebanon2.io), lebanon2.io, and all associated software, digital ledgers, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing, creating an account, funding a wallet, or purchasing digital land on Lebanon 2, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our related operating policies. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Lebanon 2 is a civic technology and digital utility platform designed to be a 1:1 scale interactive map of Lebanon. The platform allows users to:
3.1 Digital Utility Only: The digital assets identified as "Tiles" or "Land" on Lebanon 2 carry NO rights to physical land, property, or real estate of any kind. They represent an exclusive right to control the digital advertising and visibility space at that specific geolocation strictly within the Lebanon 2 Platform.
3.2 Not a Cryptocurrency or Metaverse: Lebanon 2 is not a game, a virtual reality metaverse, a cryptocurrency platform, or an NFT exchange. It is a street-level digital economy tool designed for real-world utility in Lebanon.
3.3 Dynamic Claim Fees: Administrative fees to claim a Tile are dynamic. They start at a baseline fee and scale automatically based on grid density, map traffic, and local administrative demand. We do not guarantee the future acquisition fee of any given coordinate. Acquiring a Tile grants software utility and hosting rights; it is not an investment, and coordinates have no intrinsic financial value outside the Platform ecosystem.
3.4 Cart Limitations & Temporary Order Reservations: Due to the dynamic nature of map coordinate acquisition, carts are capped at a maximum quantity of tiles per order (as configured on the Platform). When you initiate checkout, the selected tiles are placed into a temporary Pending Reservation status for up to thirty (30) minutes to prevent simultaneous checkout conflicts. If payment is not completed within this reservation window, the session will automatically expire, locks will be released, and the tiles will return to available inventory on the live map. We bear no liability for tiles that expire or are claimed by third parties following an incomplete checkout session.
4.1 Civic Reporting (Proximity Rules): To ensure map integrity, civic alerts (Traffic, Municipality, Safety) are free but require the user to be physically present within a specific radius (e.g., 300m to 500m) of the reporting location. By submitting these reports, you consent to sharing your device's GPS location with the Platform.
4.2 Commercial Listings: Posting commercial listings (Events, Rentals, Parking, Properties) requires the payment of a Guest Fee, which varies based on category and duration. If you are the registered "Tile Owner" of the location where you are posting, this fee is waived, and you may post for free.
4.3 Mobile Verification: To prevent spam and maintain trust, certain high-value posts (such as property listings and public issues) require a verified Lebanese mobile number.
If a registered user (a "Guest") pays a placement fee to post a commercial listing on a Tile where you currently hold administrative rights, you are entitled to collect a percentage of that transaction as a "Hosting Fee."
6.1 Purpose & Non-Bank Status: Lebanon 2 utilizes integrated billing accounts ("Billing Account") to facilitate seamless checkouts, hold collected Hosting Fees, and store pre-funded balances for platform utility purchases. The Billing Account is not a bank account, escrow account, or deposit product. Funds allocated to your Billing Account do not accrue interest.
6.2 Account Funding: You may pre-fund your Billing Account using approved electronic payment methods. Once deposited, these funds represent platform utility allocations and cannot be charged back or refunded.
6.3 Split-Payment Application: When checking out, you may apply verified Billing Account balances toward administrative rights acquisitions or commercial postings. If your balance is insufficient, the remainder must be settled via an authorized external payment gateway.
6.4 Manual KYC Verification & Payouts: To comply with strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and jurisdictional regulations, Lebanon 2 does not utilize automated third-party routing for payouts. All requests to withdraw collected Hosting Fees are subject to a rigorous, manual Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. Users must submit valid government-issued identification and verified banking details matching the account holder's identity before any payout is approved. Payouts are manually processed to external bank accounts and are subject to verification delays, manual anti-fraud screenings, minimum payout thresholds, and processing fees.
7.1 Program Mechanics: Active users may be granted a unique referral coupon code and sharing link. When a new buyer completes an initial transaction using your valid referral code, the buyer receives a 5% discount on qualifying cart items, and your account receives a 5% reward credited directly to your Billing Account, calculated on the eligible subtotal.
7.2 Strict Anti-Self-Referral Policy: The Referral Program is designed solely to encourage genuine organic customer acquisition. Self-referral is strictly prohibited. You may not apply your own referral code, create secondary accounts, use matching payment credentials, or manipulate device identities to trigger referral incentives on your own purchases.
7.3 Abuse & Forfeiture: ARD 2 LLC employs automated detection algorithms to flag duplicate entities and fraudulent code usage. If self-referral, artificial order splitting, code spamming, or fraudulent activity is detected, we reserve the right to:
8.1 Username Registration: Users may register a custom username to represent their portfolio on the Platform. Usernames are subject to availability and must adhere to our content standards. We reserve the right to reclaim, modify, or delete any username that is profane, offensive, impersonates another person or brand, or infringes upon trademark rights.
8.2 Leaderboard Visibility: Lebanon 2 hosts a public leaderboard displaying top tile holders, rankings, and acquisition statistics across the map. By default, portfolio sizes and registered usernames are indexed on this public leaderboard. Users who prefer privacy may utilize an automated or randomized identifier to remain incognito.
8.3 Plot Display Privacy: When acquiring tiles, you may elect whether your chosen display name appears publicly on the tile's map overlay ("Visible") or remains concealed from map visitors ("Hidden"). You may update your display preferences within your Host Profile dashboard, subject to platform caching intervals.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase Tiles or commercial listings. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Lebanon 2 is not liable for any losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (photos, descriptions, comments). However, by submitting content, you grant Lebanon 2 a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and utilize that content to operate the Platform.
You agree NOT to submit content that:
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these rules without prior notice or refund.
11.1 Currency & Finality: All purchases of Tiles, Post Durations, and Billing Account Pre-Funding are denominated and processed in United States Dollars (USD). All transactions, once finalized on our payment gateways or digital ledger, are instantaneous and strictly non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for buyer's remorse, accidental selection, or changes in dynamic map pricing. Refunds will only be evaluated in the event of an unresolvable technical failure attributable directly to our backend infrastructure.
11.2 Taxes & Cross-Border Compliance: All stated prices are exclusive of any applicable local, state, federal, or international taxes, duties, goods and services taxes (GST), or value-added taxes (VAT), unless explicitly indicated otherwise. You are solely responsible for paying any and all sales, use, excise, or value-added taxes that may be imposed by your tax jurisdiction in connection with your purchase of digital utilities or services on the Platform. Where required by applicable law, ARD 2 LLC reserves the right to calculate, collect, and remit statutory taxes at checkout based on your billing details or IP jurisdiction.
LEBANON 2 IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
We do not guarantee that any civic issue reported on the Platform will be resolved by any municipality. Acquiring administrative rights to a Tile is for digital utility and placement management only. Lebanon 2 strictly prohibits acquiring coordinates with the expectation of profit.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lebanon 2 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@ard2.org. Please note that official customer support and platform inquiries are handled exclusively via email; Lebanon 2 does not offer telephone support.
