πŸ‘€ Account & Privacy

Can I hide my real name on the map? β–Ό

Yes. During checkout, you can select the "NO - Hide my name" privacy option. This ensures your legal name is kept secure and will not appear on the public map.

Additionally, you can visit your Profile dashboard and set a custom Nickname (e.g., your brand name or a pseudonym) which will be displayed publicly instead of your real name.

What is the Lebanon 2 Leaderboard? β–Ό

The Leaderboard ranks the top digital land owners on the platform. It highlights users who have secured the most territory and established a strong presence on the map.

Your public Nickname will be used on the Leaderboard to protect your privacy.

Why is mobile verification required for some posts? β–Ό

Certain categories (like properties, rentals, and public issues) require a verified Lebanese phone number to:

  • Prevent spam and bots
  • Increase trust for buyers/renters
  • Ensure real community activity

Are posts real-time? β–Ό

Yes β€” especially:

  • Traffic alerts
  • Safety alerts

Listings (like properties or events) stay active based on the duration purchased by the poster.

πŸ“ Locations & Cart

What does it mean to own a location? β–Ό

You secure a specific digital 10x10m square on the map. This allows you to:

  • Use it for your own commercial posts for free.
  • Earn revenue when others (Guests) pay to post on it.
Can I buy large areas of land at once? β–Ό

Yes. Instead of clicking tiles one by one, you can use the "Buy (3x3) Land Block" button inside a tile's popup menu. This will instantly select a 9-tile grid around your chosen area and add it directly to your cart.

Do prices stay the same? β–Ό

No. Prices dynamically increase as nearby areas get secured.

πŸ‘‰ Important:

Prices may vary at checkout if nearby tiles get sold. Completing your purchase fast secures the lowest available price.

What happens if I abandon my cart during checkout? β–Ό

To keep the map fair, tiles in your cart are marked as "Reserved" for others while you are on the checkout page.

If you change your mind and navigate back to the map, our self-healing system automatically unlocks those tiles so others can buy them. If you completely close your browser, they naturally expire and unlock after 30 minutes.

Do I legally own the real land? β–Ό

No.

πŸ‘‰ Important:

Owning a location on Lebanon 2 does not grant any legal ownership, rights, or interest in the corresponding physical property. It is digital space on our platform only.

πŸ“’ Posting

What can I post? β–Ό
Free
  • Traffic updates
  • Safety alerts
  • Public issues (Baladiya)
Paid (Guest) / Free (Owner)
  • Events
  • Rentals & Guest Stays
  • Paid Parking
  • Real Estate Properties
  • Pets
Why do I get a "Too far" error when trying to post? β–Ό

To keep the map highly accurate and eliminate fake reports, community alerts (like Road & Traffic or Safety) require you to be physically near the location.

For example, you must be within a few hundred meters of a tile to post a traffic jam alert on it. Your device must share its GPS location to verify this proximity.

What is the difference between a Guest Post and a Tile Owner Post? β–Ό

When creating a commercial listing (like a rental or event):

  • Tile Owner: If you purchased the digital tile on the map, you can post your listing on it for free.
  • Guest: If you do not own the tile, you pay a small fee based on the duration of your post (e.g., $5 for a month) to promote your listing on that spot.

πŸ‘› Wallet & Earnings

What is the Lebanon 2 Wallet? β–Ό

The Wallet is your built-in digital ledger. You can use it to store funds, receive earnings from your tiles or referrals, and use that balance to instantly buy land or promote listings.

How do I add funds or receive earnings? β–Ό
  • Top Up: You can securely add funds to your wallet using a credit or debit card directly from your Profile dashboard.
  • Earnings: Whenever a guest pays to post on a tile you own, or someone successfully uses your referral code, your cash rewards are instantly deposited directly into your wallet.
Can I pay for tiles or posts using my wallet balance? β–Ό

Yes! During checkout, you can apply your available wallet funds.

If your wallet balance covers the full cost of your cart, your order becomes $0.00 and you can complete the purchase instantly without entering credit card details.

What if my wallet balance doesn’t cover the full cost? β–Ό

You can do a split payment. Apply whatever funds you have in your wallet to reduce the total price, and then pay the remaining balance securely via Stripe.

How does the Tile Owner Revenue Share work? β–Ό

When a Guest pays to post a listing (such as an Event, Rental, or Parking spot) on a tile you own, you earn a percentage of that fee (up to 50%).

For example, if someone pays $30 to list a property on your tile, you instantly earn a share deposited straight into your wallet.

Can I withdraw my wallet funds to a bank account? β–Ό

Currently, Wallet funds are designed for frictionless in-app use to acquire new tiles, renew listings, or promote posts without incurring repeated transaction fees. Direct external withdrawals are subject to review by the administrative team based on account activity.

🎁 Referrals & Discounts

How do referral codes work? β–Ό

Referral codes provide a dual benefit:

  • The Buyer gets a percentage discount on their entire cart when they apply the code at checkout.
  • The Referrer (the owner of the code) earns a cash reward that is instantly deposited into their Lebanon 2 Wallet.
How do I get my own referral code? β–Ό

Once you have an active account, you can find and share your unique referral code from your Profile dashboard.

Can I use my own referral code to get a discount? β–Ό

No. Referral codes are strictly designed to invite and reward new users. Our checkout security system will automatically block any attempt at self-referral.

πŸ’³ Payments

What payments are required? β–Ό

You use the platform checkout system to pay for:

  • Guest Posts (promoting your listings)
  • Securing digital locations (tiles)
Are payments one-time or recurring? β–Ό
  • Posting β†’ One-time per selected duration. You can delete and repost if you need to update it.
  • Locations β†’ One-time purchase for ownership rights.

πŸ›‘οΈ Trust & Quality

How do you prevent spam and fake posts? β–Ό
  • GPS Locks: Street alerts require physical proximity to post.
  • Bot Protection: Every post passes through strict Captcha (Cloudflare Turnstile) checks.
  • Phone OTP: High-value listings require a verified Lebanese mobile number.
Are posts verified? β–Ό

We provide tools like mobile verification and GPS checks, but users should always:

  • Verify information independently before making deals.
  • Contact the poster directly for real estate or event details.
